Unit Groups

Before adding products, it’s important to define how your products are measured. Batuly helps you organize this using Unit Groups and Units.

Unit Group Creation

Unit Groups define measurement types like Weight, Length, Volume, or Quantity. This helps businesses standardize how stock is tracked across different items.

The Unit Group screen includes:

• List of Existing Groups: View current unit groups.
• Add New Group Button: Opens a form to define a new group.

To Create a New Unit Group:

1. Click Add Group
2. Enter the Group Name (e.g., Weight)
3. Click on Create to create unit group or click create and create another to create another unit group if you have more than one unit group.

Unit Groups help organize related units under a single type. For example, "Weight" could include kg, gm, etc.
